The Best Wedding Venues Near Warrington and Stockton Heath: A Cheshire Guide (With Invitations to Match)
As always… if you’re new around here allow me to introduce myself. My name is Becky (she/her), and I'm a proud Scouser through and through… but I'm currently in the middle of moving out to Stockton Heath, and I won't pretend I haven't spent the last few weeks nosing around every wedding venue within a twenty mile radius as my excuse to explore. Turns out this little corner of Cheshire has been sitting on some of the best venues in the North West, and I've fallen properly in love with a few of them.
So although Liverpool has my heart (forever and always), Warrington is currently stealing quite a lot of my attention at the moment.

Walton Hall and Gardens is a proper local landmark set in acres and acres of award-winning parkland. There's an oak panelled hall with a grand staircase if you want something formal, three ceremony rooms, and outdoor options including a bandstand, a pergola and the newer Woodland Hideaway. It's also genuinely lovely for photos, with resident alpacas wandering the grounds if that's your kind of charm (and I’d love to show these guys off in a bespoke design like this one!). For a classic day here, I'd reach for my Victoriana collection. But if your style leans more relaxed and boho, I actually worked on a shoot here that leaned into exactly that, all loose florals and pampas grass, using my Bohemian Pampas design, and it suited the grounds beautifully.
The Parr's Bank Hotel, right in Warrington town centre, is the one to know if you want a bit of drama without leaving town. It's a Grade II listed former bank from 1877, beautifully restored, with marble pillars, hand painted silk murals and a chandelier that does a lot of heavy lifting in the photos. The Banking Hall holds up to 325 guests, with the more intimate Bank Manager's Suite for smaller celebrations. For a venue with this much personality, I'd go for my Dutch Masters Floral design, all rich, painterly florals that match that grand, moody interior.

Statham Lodge, just outside Lymm, is a Grade II listed Georgian house with high ceilings, a wisteria covered facade and eleven acres of grounds. There's a gazebo in the gardens if you want to marry outdoors, five licensed ceremony spaces inside, and a one wedding a day policy, so you're never sharing the grounds with anyone else. I'd suggest my Butter Yellow collection here, sunshine tones and painterly florals that echo all that wisteria and garden light.
Worth casting the net a little wider
Arley Hall and Gardens, near Northwich, is a genuine standout if you want somewhere with real horticultural pedigree, the double herbaceous borders alone are worth the drive. My Wildflower Meadow collection is the obvious match, all leafy, layered botanicals that echo the gardens without trying too hard. And if you want something even more tied to the setting, this is also a venue where I'd point you towards bespoke, a hand illustrated design pulled from the actual borders.
Delamere Manor and Nunsmere Hall Hotel both sit in the same direction, and both do the country house thing properly, think lake views, mature grounds and interiors with real weight to them, both venues I'd pair with my Marsala Wine design for something rich and romantic.
Colshaw Hall, near Knutsford, is worth it if you want somewhere completely private, it's exclusive use only, on a three hundred acre estate, with a wedding coordinator and toastmaster included as standard. For a day this dramatic, my Starry Night collection is the one.

The Marsala Wine collection, just rich and romantic enough for Delamere Manor or Nunsmere Hall Hotel.

If a barn suits better than a manor house
Stock Farm Barn, on the edge of the Tatton Estate near Knutsford, is exclusive use, licensed for ceremonies both indoors and out, and comes with on-site accommodation, so your whole wedding party can stay together. This is where I'd bring in my Rustic Luxe collection, warm and textured without losing any polish.
The Oak Tree of Peover and Owen House Wedding Barn sit in the same bracket, rustic without ever tipping into rough around the edges, and both suit something a little more playful, my Retro Floral or Colour Block designs work well if you want your stationery to feel as relaxed as the setting.

A couple more to have on your list
Daresbury Park Hotel in Warrington has adaptable spaces if you need something flexible for a bigger guest list, and my Studio Floral design with six patterned backs is a fun option if you want your stationery to stand out in a bigger space. And The Fairmont (formerly The Mere Resort) near Knutsford pairs a golf resort setting with proper spa facilities on site, handy if you fancy a spa morning with your bridesmaids, my Marble Elegance collection suits its polished, resort feel nicely.
