The illustration is delicate and slightly wild- sprigs of cow parsley, scattered cornflowers, garden daisies, wild grasses, foxgloves, and trailing foliage rendered in soft watercolour. I've used a palette that runs through gentle lilac, warm butter yellow, dusty pink, fresh sage green, and pale cream- colours that feel as if they've been picked from a hedgerow rather than chosen from a swatch book. The whole design has a beautiful sense of looseness and movement. It pairs effortlessly with kraft envelopes, mixed wildflower bouquets, woven linen, terracotta, mismatched vintage glassware, and any styling that celebrates relaxed countryside hospitality.
