The Marsala Wine Collection

Rich burgundy and botanical drama for moody, romantic autumn and winter weddings.

Moody, romantic, and deeply gorgeous- the Marsala Wine collection is built around one of the most sumptuous colour palettes you'll find in wedding stationery. Rich burgundy and deep wine tones are layered with delicate botanical detail to create something that feels both intimate and dramatic, like the candlelit table at the best dinner party you've ever been to.

This is the collection for autumn and winter couples who want their stationery to feel as rich and romantic as the season. There's a depth to this design that you can lose yourself in- and once you've seen it, it's very hard to look at anything else.

October through February are the natural fit- when the light is soft, the days are short, and styling leans towards candlelight, deep florals, and proper Sunday-dinner tables. It works beautifully in country houses with serious fireplaces, converted barns, restored chapels, and historic venues where the architecture is already doing the dramatic heavy lifting. Couples planning candlelit dinners, burgundy tablescapes, or any celebration with a wine-and-velvet sensibility fall hard for this one.

The botanical illustration is loose and painterly- generous brushstrokes of deep burgundy roses, dahlias, and trailing autumn foliage. I've used a palette anchored by rich Marsala wine red but warmed with terracotta, deep blush, and amber gold, with sage and forest green foliage giving the whole thing depth. It pairs effortlessly with brass candlesticks, dark linen, gold-rimmed glassware, dried botanicals, and any styling that leans towards old-world abundance and candlelit warmth.

The full suite is available: save the dates, wedding invitations (with matching details and RSVP cards), the complete on the day stationery range (order of service booklets, place cards, menu cards, table numbers, table plans, welcome signs, additional signage), and thank you cards. Belly bands, envelope liners, address printing, and sealing stickers are available as finishing touches. Gold or copper foil details look stunning against the deep palette, and a venue illustration adds a personal layer that suits the romantic mood beautifully. Want to push it further? I can adjust the burgundy depth, swap envelope colours for kraft or charcoal, or add a wax seal in matching wine red.

Order a sample to see the depth of pigment in person- burgundy is one of those colours that really benefits from being held under candlelight. If you'd love something fully bespoke instead, the Marsala palette is a beautiful starting point.
