Liverpool Wedding Stationery
Liverpool is my home. I was born here, raised here, studied graphic design here, and married my husband Dave in the city centre... so when I illustrate a Liverpool venue, I'm drawing from memory, not a photograph. Ok, also a photograph, let's not get silly. But, that connection runs through everything I create, from illustrated drawings of the Liver Building to designs inspired by the glasshouse at Sefton Park Palm House.
If you're planning a Liverpool wedding, you'll find designs here that already celebrate some of the city's most iconic venues- and if your venue isn't featured, I can illustrate it as part of a Bespoke Design or semi-custom commission.
Designs inspired by Liverpool
Featuring the Royal Liver Building
The Minimal Monochrome Collection
Sometimes less really is more. This beautifully restrained black and white design features an illustration of the Liver Building as standard- though it works just as beautifully without, or with your own venue drawn in its place.

Inspired by Sefton Park Palm House
The Tropical Palms Collection
I created this collection after falling in love with the extraordinary Victorian glasshouse at Sefton Park Palm House- that magnificent space where tropical plants reach towards the light under a soaring iron and glass dome. It felt like it deserved its own design.

Born from a Royal Liver Building styled shoot
The Frosted Garden Collection
This icy blue design was born during a winter styled shoot at the Royal Liver Building. The cool elegance and clean architectural lines of the venue shaped every detail- and I think you can really feel that when you see it.

A Liverpool designer, through and through
Our own wedding stationery featured an illustrated Liverpool skyline and a hand-drawn map of our favourite city centre spots- and honestly, that's what sparked Hawthorne and Ivory in the first place. I know this city inside and out, and I love weaving that into the stationery I create for couples getting married here.
Working with a local designer means more than just convenience. I know the sweep of the Liver Building against the waterfront, the light filtering through the Palm House dome, the warmth of a Hope Street Hotel reception. That familiarity finds its way into every illustration- there's a real difference when you have a deep connection to the city.
Whether you're after a semi-custom design that already features a Liverpool venue or a fully bespoke suite built around your own celebration, I'd love to hear from you.

A Liverpool Love Story: Hannah & Jack's Bespoke Wedding Stationery
Step inside Hannah and Jack’s bespoke Liverpool wedding stationery, built around two iconic venues: the Royal Liver Building and Oh Me Oh My. I share how we layered autumnal toffee, peach and burgundy florals onto a Minimal Monochrome base, and created a full set of illustrated table names nodding to their dogs, favourite Lark Lane wine bar and even Lord of the Rings. Plus my favourite Liverpool venues to design for.
Save the Dates That Celebrate Your Unique Wedding Venue
If your venue is the star of your wedding, put it on your save the dates. I share why a glasshouse, city landmark, historic estate or quirky spot deserves the spotlight, then walk through creative ways to capture it: custom venue illustrations, hand-drawn maps, signature architectural details, and seasonal natural elements. You’ll also see why bespoke design works best for one-of-a-kind venues, and when to send your save the dates.
Something Blue, But Make It Stunning: Icy Blue Wedding Stationery for 2026 and Beyond
Icy blue is having a real moment for 2026, and I’ve just launched my new Frosted Garden Collection to match: delicate watercolour botanicals in ice blue, periwinkle and silver-white. But blue suits practically every wedding, so I pair Porcelain, Dutch Masters and Shoreline with classic, autumnal and coastal celebrations. There’s a real bespoke Peak District suite to swoon over, plus answers to your most-asked blue questions.
Garden Wedding Invitations: The Perfect Stationery for Your Outdoor Celebration
Not all garden weddings look the same, so your stationery shouldn’t either. Whether you’re picturing a cottage garden, a wildflower meadow, a tropical glasshouse or a structured botanical space, I’ll help you match it. I share five collections to inspire you, from Bright Summer Floral to Tropical Palms and Lavender Petals, plus when to send your invitations and how to carry your garden story through every piece, right down to the welcome sign.
How wedding planning took over my life...
This is where it all began. In my very first blog post I share my story: growing up in Liverpool, studying graphic design and illustration, then planning my own October 2016 wedding to Dave. From illustrated portrait save the dates to a city skyline invitation suite and a fingerprint guest book, I fell head over heels for stationery. Cue post-wedding blues, a test Etsy shop, and handing in my notice to make Hawthorne and Ivory official.
