This collection was made with destination weddings in mind- Italian villas, Greek island chapels, Spanish fincas, Portuguese coastal celebrations, and Mediterranean-inspired UK weddings. It also works brilliantly for any couple drawn to a classical, restrained aesthetic with serious history behind it. Olive branches are one of the oldest symbols in the world, and that quiet weight gives this design real depth. It works across every season but feels particularly at home in spring, summer, and early autumn weddings.
The illustration is delicate and hand-painted- slender olive sprigs, soft silvery green leaves, and the occasional fruiting branch. I've kept the palette tonal and quiet: muted olive, soft sage, gentle cream, with the option of warm gold accents.
