about me

In my happy place with a cuppa and some bold, bright invitations.

Hi there, I’m Becky (she/her) – colourful creative, cat lover, hopeless romantic.

Here’s a little bit of my stationery design story...
Long before Hawthorne and Ivory was even a twinkle in my eye, I had a love of lettering and design thanks to my signwriter dad. I studied (and loved) graphic design and illustration at uni, but it wasn’t until I was designing invitations for my own wedding that everything fell into place.

The chance to explode my creativity onto the page? Check. Opportunities for layered, clever, meaningful design? Check. Making couples in love feel extra-special? Check and double check. I was hooked. And years later, I’m still hooked!

Wedding stationery design can be a creative, cohesive capsule that threads colour and design through every aspect of your wedding day – from the initial glimpses of what’s to come with your save the dates and invitations, to the welcome signs and beautifully personal place settings on the day, to the thoughtful thank yous that you send to your loved ones afterwards. I’m here for it all! I love coming up with new collections that reflect different styles and personalities, and I love getting to know each and every one of my couples, and having the chance to be a part of their big day.

Happy Snapshots…

Get to know me a little better with a rollercoaster ride through some of my favourite things.

OK, here we go: All cats (specifically my own three fur babies – Hamilton, Waffles and Wilbury) | squishy sofa cushions and a Wes Anderson movie night | dancing in the kitchen to Harry Styles and all of my favourite songs | Breton stripes and bright florals | an unashamed geek out | Birkenstocks in every colour of the rainbow | ordering the most exciting thing on the menu | planning my next tattoo (most recently a set of postage stamps!) | the swooping feeling in my stomach when I walk into Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom for the first time | road tripping and going off the beaten track | pretty much anything when my husband Dave’s involved.

If you’re ready to chat wedding stationery and you feel like we might be a good fit, why not get in touch for a chat? I’d love to hear from you.

say hello…
